For this part of the project I decided to take a course on Lynda.com. I have never heard of Lynda before this class, however, I have heard of other websites like it. When I first visited the website I was very impressed with the interface. The homepage had a few suggested courses based on the most popular courses being taken. I thought all were very relevant. It took me a while to find a course, there were countless options in many different categories. I chose to do the course title: “Can’t Live Without Laughing”. I was extremely impressed by the interface of the whole course. There is a side section where you can scroll through and see the contents of the course, you can also select any of the options and it will take you to that segment of the course. Also, on the same side section there is a tab for notes. This website allows you to take notes and automatically organizes the notes into which section they belong in. This is incredibly helpful for studying and reviewing notes. The note section also allows you export the notes via Word, PDF, and Text file. This is also very beneficial because you can view your notes in a word document and either print or view them if you do not have any access to internet at the time. I thought overall the course content was very entertaining and did a great job of staying on topic even with the very specific sub-topics.
For this project I decided to do a infographic. I used a website called Piktochart . I made a welcome page for my made up class (11th grade social studies). I used a theme and edited it how I wanted. It was extremely easy and looks very professional. I plan to use this in the future. I even included a spot for the students to write three goals and get the paper signed by their parent. You can check out the project here !

Great! Lynda.com is a great resource and FSU students have free access to it. Many people just simply ignore it.
